Extra Note on the Sebring viewing party. I mentioned this in the
meeting but just wanted to reiterate that you're welcome to come for as long or
as short as you'd like. I know it's a long race so if you want to just
come for a couple hours during the day, that's fine. You can come for the
beginning, leave, and then come back for the end. However you want to do
it is fine. If you would like to stay for the entire thing then that is
perfectly fine as well.
3/19 Sat - Sebring viewing party at Blair &
Allyson's place. The race is from 10:30am until 10:30pm. Show up any
time from 9:30am on and you can stay as late as you'd like after the race.
If anyone drinks and needs to crash then you are welcome to stay. It's
BYOB so you'll have to bring your own booze. I also ask that you bring a
little side dish, appetizer, dessert or something of that nature. Doesn't
have to be anything big but just enough that we get a little variety. Also
remember that this is an all day event so it would be easiest to bring something
that can sit out all day but if you bring something that needs to be
refrigerated then at least bring it in a storage container that we can put in
the fridge and just dole out a little at a time as the bit that is out gets
consumed. I will provide meatball sandwiches. I'll just have them
going in the crock pot so people can help themselves to those any time they
want. I'll put them on in the morning so they should be ready by lunch
time on. Sorry to anyone that was looking forward to meatball sandwiches
for breakfast. We do live on a cul-de-sac so you're welcome to park in our
drive way or where ever you can find a spot except please don't block any of the
mailboxes since it's a Saturday and there will be mail delivery. My
address is right on most maps and GPS's although I've been told the C6
navigation system doesn't get it right. The address is:

Subject: March -19th Meeting Notes and Upcoming Events
4/30 Sat - Cruise to Harrah's Cherokee
is still on for this date and is an all day event. So if you're planning
to go you should leave the day open. There will be more details to come as
I make them up. So far the general info is that it will start some where
in the general area of Traveler's Rest in the morning. There will then be
a several hour cruise up to Harrah's Cherokee. There will be gambling or
whatever you'd like to do. We'll probably do lunch at some point or maybe
an early dinner depending on how I feel when I make all these decisions.
I'm currently planning to drive back via the Interstates later in the evening
but I believe some people are planning to stay. If you think you might
want to stay then I recommend finding a hotel in the area and booking now.
As long as you don't do the pre-paid deal, you can always cancel the reservation
as long as you decide a couple days ahead that you don't want to stay.

May Event - Verne is going to plan a
trip to Greenville Pickens Speedway.
June Event - Mike is going to plan
some sort of rally or cruise event.
July Event - Luis is going to plan
some sort of Lake excursion event.
August Event - Greg is going to plan a
photo rally event.
